August 18, 2023: Delhi, CA 95315 The Delhi Hawks football team (Delhi, CA), was ripped 58-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA)
The Gauchos (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Cordova (Rancho Cordova, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Cordova was ripped by Fairfield (Fairfield, CA), 24-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Hawks now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ceres for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 25. Delhi will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Hughson (Hughson, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
