Georgia High School Softball - Statesboro bounces Pinewood Christian
August 18, 2023: Bellville, GA 30414 Statesboro Blue Devils (Statesboro, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Pinewood Christian Patriots (Bellville, GA), 15-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Blue Devils now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Emanuel County Institute for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 22. Statesboro will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Pinewood Christian falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Edmund Burke Academy (Waynesboro, GA) to face the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 22. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 0-4. Edmund Burke Academy lost 5-2 in their recent league challenge against Gatewood (Eatonton, GA)
