August 18, 2023: Marshall, TX 75670 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Marshall Mavericks (Marshall, TX) and the visiting Garrison Bulldogs (Garrison, TX), saw Marshall's volleyball squad beat Garrison by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Marshall upgrades its record to 7-6 on the year. The Mavericks host Jefferson (Jefferson, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 22. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-5.
The Bulldogs now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Non Varsity Tournament Opponent for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 19. Garrison will play a squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Klein Oak (Spring, TX). The record now stands at 8-42.
