The Glenn Grizzlies (Leander, TX) volleyball overcame the host Pflugerville Connally Cougars (Austin, TX), 2-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Glenn upgrades its record to 11-6 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to A&M Consolidated (College Station, TX) to face the Tigers in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 19. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 6-6.

The Cougars now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Hutto for a non-league bout on Friday, August 18. Pflugerville Connally will play a Hippos squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over East View (Georgetown, TX). The Hippos record now stands at 8-6.
