The St. Joseph Academy Bloodhounds volleyball team (Brownsville, TX), was nudged 2-1 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Nixon Mustangs (Laredo, TX)

The Mustangs (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX). The Rattlers enter the 5A Region IV District 30 challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Rio Grande City nipped Juan Diego Academy (Mission, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
