Kentucky High School Soccer - Russell toppled by Warren Central
August 18, 2024: Russell, KY 41169 Warren Central Dragons (Bowling Green, KY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Sunday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY), 8-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Warren Central moves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY) to clash with the Gators in a District 14 test on Tuesday, August 20. The Gators come into the test with a record of 0-1. Greenwood lost 2-1 in their recent league test against South Warren (Bowling Green, KY)
The Red Devils now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lawrence County for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 20. Russell will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-0 league win over Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
