California High School Flag Football - Fountain Valley held off by Sage Hill
August 18, 2025: Newport Beach, CA 92625 The Sage Hill Lightning flag football squad scored 19 points and limited the visiting Fountain Valley Barons to 18 in the Lightning non-league triumph on Monday.
The Lightning now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host San Juan Hills for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 20.
With the defeat, Fountain Valley drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Barons travel to Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA) to face the Wolverines in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 19. The Wolverines enter the game with a record of 2-3. Aliso Niguel lost 20-14 in their recent non-league game against Esperanza (Anaheim, CA)
