August 18, 2025: Fayetteville, NC 28311 Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Union Pines improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Vikings host Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 19. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 0-1. Uwharrie Charter Academy lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against South Rowan (China Grove, NC)
Next, the Trojans meet the Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Pine Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Colts come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC).
