August 18, 2025: Springfield, OH 45502 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Emmanuel Christian Academy Lions (Springfield, OH) and the host Shawnee Braves (Springfield, OH), saw Emmanuel Christian Academy's soccer squad triumph over Shawnee by a score of 7-0.
The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Greeneview (Jamestown, OH). The Rams enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Greeneview was overwhelmed by Fayetteville-Perry (Fayetteville, OH), 5-3, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Braves confront the Fairlawn Jets (Sidney, OH) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 23. Shawnee will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
