Michigan High School Soccer - Western International knocks off Lamphere
August 18, 2025: Madison Heights, MI 48071 In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Western International Cowboys soccer team scored a close 5-1 triumph over the Lamphere Rams.
With the triumph, Western International moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Renaissance (Detroit, MI) to clash with the Phoenix in a non-league test on Friday, August 22. The Phoenix come into the test with a record of 0-1. Renaissance lost 6-3 in their recent non-league test against Thurston (Redford, MI)
The Rams now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeview for a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 20. Lamphere will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Dakota (Macomb, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
