Georgia High School Softball - Glynn Academy sneaks past Appling County
August 18, 2025: Baxley, GA 31513 In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Glynn Academy Terrors softball team scored a tight 2-1 win over the Appling County Pirates.
The Terrors (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Effingham County (Springfield, GA). The Rebels enter the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Effingham County was nipped by Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA), 6-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Pirates confront the West Laurens Raiders (Dexter, GA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 21. Appling County will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Raiders come into the match with a 4-1 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Wheeler County (Alamo, GA).
