East Hill Christian Eagles (Pensacola, FL) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Varsity Opponent (, ), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against West Florida Baptist Academy (Milton, FL). The Conquerors come into the Panhandle Christian challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, West Florida Baptist Academy edged Bible Baptist Christian (Hampton, GA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the meet the Cornerstone Family Saints (Topeka, KS) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, August 19. Varsity Opponent will attempt to advance on its 13-44 season record. The Saints go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Midland Adventist Academy (Shawnee Mission, KS).
