August 19, 2021: Jesup, GA 31545 In Thursday's non-league contest, the Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA) softball team overwhelmed the host Wayne County Yellow Jackets (Jesup, GA), by a margin of 8-0.
With the triumph, Appling County moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Pirates host Pierce County (Blackshear, GA) to play the Bears in a AAA Region 1 contest on Tuesday, August 24. The Bears come into the contest with a record of 4-0.
