Match Summary
The 0-3 score does not represent how dominate Rossville was and how poor Carroll was. We have not had three primary passers all pass so poorly on the same night in nearly 10 years as A. May passed 1.23 (16/13 and aced 4 times), M. Pontigo at 1.0 (15/15 and aced 4 times) and H. Bowman 1.26 (24/19 and aced 6 times). And they were not even our worst passers. M. Worl passed a 1.0 (5/5) and D. Myers passed 0.80 (3/5). Ten years ago we had to fight and claw to get to 4 wins. Is that our future? There is little for us to hang our hat on to build around. We do not hit well, block well, or serve well. Our defense is lacking as other than M. Pontigo, we have no one willing to go hard after a ball. Our second setter is struggling to get into position to set our hitters, primarily A. May who finds herself dealing with out of system balls on a regular basis. Our second left side hitter is hitting negative. That simply can not happen and have us expect to win more than we lose.
