Texas High School Volleyball - Amarillo tips Weatherford

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Amarillo Sandies (Amarillo, TX) and the visiting Weatherford Kangaroos (Weatherford, TX), saw Amarillo's volleyball squad nip Weatherford by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Amarillo upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The Sandies travel to Sachse (Sachse, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, August 20. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Sachse won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Decatur (Decatur, TX)

The Kangaroos now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Vandegrift for a non-league bout on Friday, August 20. Weatherford will play a Vipers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Northwest (Justin, TX). The Vipers record now stands at 11-2.
