The Cherokee Indians football team (Cherokee, AL), was beaten 30-18 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Brindlee Mountain Lions (Guntersville, AL)

The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Elkmont (Elkmont, AL). The Red Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Elkmont was beaten by Sheffield (Sheffield, AL), 47-20, in a non-league challenge.
