The Middle Creek Mustangs football squad scored 36 points and restricted the host Fuquay - Varina Bengals to 35 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Garner for a non-league battle on Friday, August 26. Middle Creek will play a Trojans squad coming off a 35-8 non-league loss to Knightdale (Knightdale, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 0-1.
