The Montgomery Central Indians (Cunningham, TN) football defeated the visiting Sycamore War Eagles (Pleasant View, TN), 22-13 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Indians face the Northeast Eagles (Clarksville, TN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, August 26. Montgomery Central will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 30-16 non-league win over West Creek (Clarksville, TN).
