August 19, 2022: Birmingham, AL 35217 Tarrant Wildcats (Birmingham, AL) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Talladega County Central Fighting Tigers (Talladega, AL), 27-6 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Tarrant improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Fayette County (Fayette, AL) to battle the Tigers in a 3A Region 5 test on Friday, September 2. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-0.
With the loss, Talladega County Central drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Fighting tigers host Central of Coosa County (Rockford, AL) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, August 26. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 0-1. Central of Coosa County lost 36-8 in their recent non-league test against Verbena (Verbena, AL)
