August 19, 2022: Marion, TX 78124 The Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Marion Bulldogs to 1 in the Fighting Owls non-league victory on Friday.
The Fighting Owls now have a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crystal City for a non-league game on Friday, August 19. Anderson-Shiro will meet a Javelinas team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Pearsall (Pearsall, TX). The Javelinas record now stands at 5-0.
The Bulldogs (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Crystal City (Crystal City, TX). The Javelinas enter the non-league game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Crystal City nipped Pearsall (Pearsall, TX), 3-2, in a non-league game.
