The East Central Hornets topped the visiting Edison Golden Bears volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.

The Hornets now have a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holmes for a non-league test on Saturday, August 20. East Central will confront a Huskies team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Cuero (Cuero, TX). The Huskies record now stands at 7-5.
