The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX) and the visiting Plano Wildcats (Plano, TX), saw The Colony's volleyball squad nip Plano by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, The Colony upgrades its record to 8-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX) to play the Friars in a non-league bout on Friday, August 19. The Friars go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Bishop Lynch won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Liberty Christian (Argyle, TX)

The Wildcats now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty Christian for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 20. Plano will play a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 9-4.
