The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX) and the host Reedy Lions (Frisco, TX), saw Ridge Point's volleyball squad nip Reedy by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Ridge Point upgrades its record to 14-4 on the year. The Panthers travel to Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, August 19. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 11-2. Colleyville Heritage won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX)
