August 19, 2023: Silver City, NM 88061 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM) and the visiting Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM), saw Silver's soccer squad get by Hot Springs by a count of 3-2.
The Fighting Colts now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hatch Valley for a non-league test on Saturday, August 26.
With the loss, Hot Springs drops to 0-2 on the season. The Tigers host New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, NM) to meet the Colts in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 3. The Colts come into the test with a record of 0-1.
