Kentucky High School Soccer - Webster County knocks off Logan County
August 19, 2023: Russellville, KY 42276 Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Logan County Cougars (Russellville, KY), 8-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Trojans face the Hopkins County Central Storm (Madisonville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 22. Webster County will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Storm enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Lyon County (Eddyville, KY).
The Cougars now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin-Simpson for a District 13 challenge on Tuesday, August 22. Logan County will face a Wildcats team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Warren East (Bowling Green, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.
