In Saturday's non-league contest, the Albany Lions (Albany, TX) volleyball squad were winner over the host Prairie Valley Bulldogs (Nocona, TX), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Lions battle the Munday Moguls (Munday, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 19. Albany will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Moguls go into the outing with a 3-9 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Chillicothe (Chillicothe, TX).
