In Saturday's non-league contest, the Austin Maroons (Austin, TX) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Maroons battle the Centennial Titans (Frisco, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 19. Austin will attempt to better on its 15-1 season record. The Titans go into the contest with a 11-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Rock Hill (Frisco, TX).

With the loss, Lone Star moves to 9-7 on the year. The Rangers travel to Pearce (Richardson, TX) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 19.
