August 19, 2023: Cypress, CA 90630 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Cypress Centurions (Cypress, CA) and the visiting Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA), saw Cypress's volleyball squad beat Burroughs by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Cypress upgrades its record to 2-2 on the year. The Centurions travel to Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 23. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Orange Lutheran won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA)
The Bears now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Valley Christian for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 19. Burroughs will play a Defenders squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Downey (Downey, CA). The Defenders record now stands at 2-2.
