August 19, 2023: Blountville, TN 37617 The West Ridge Wolves (Blountville, TN) volleyball overcame the visiting Oak Ridge Wildcats (Oak Ridge, TN), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, West Ridge upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Wolves host Knoxville Catholic (Knoxville, TN) to face the Fighting Irish in a D II-AA East outing on Monday, August 28. The Fighting Irish go into the outing with a record of 3-3.
The Wildcats now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Halls for a AAA District 3 outing on Tuesday, August 22. Oak Ridge will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Greeneville (Greeneville, TN). The Red Devils record now stands at 1-8.
