With the win, Estill County improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Engineers travel to Powell County (Stanton, KY) to encounter the Pirates in a District 56 battle on Tuesday, August 20. The Pirates go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Royals now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin County for a District 41 battle on Tuesday, September 3.
