Nevada High School Volleyball - Douglas can't get by Reno
August 19, 2025: Reno, NV 89509 Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Douglas Tigers (Minden, NV), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Reno advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Huskies travel to Reed (Sparks, NV) to face the Raiders in a game on Thursday, September 11. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 0-1.
The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against McQueen (Reno, NV). The Lancers go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, McQueen was edged by Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV), 2-1, in a league game.
