California High School Flag Football - Buena sneaks past Channel Islands

August 19, 2025: Oxnard, CA 93033

The Buena Bulldogs flag football squad scored 12 points and limited the host Channel Islands Raiders to 6 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Bonaventure for a non-league test on Thursday, August 21. Buena will meet a Seraphs squad coming off a 55-0 non-league loss to Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA). The Seraphs record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Channel Islands drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA) to meet the Dons in a non-league test on Thursday, August 21. The Dons come into the test with a record of 0-1.
