California High School Flag Football - Rancho Alamitos can't hold off Godinez Fundamental
August 19, 2025: Garden Grove, CA 92841 The Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies held off the host Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros flag football squad by a count of 17-12 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Grizzlies now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Woodrow Wilson for a non-league test on Thursday, August 21. Godinez Fundamental will meet a Bruins squad coming off a 27-0 non-league loss to Downey (Downey, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 0-7.
With the defeat, Rancho Alamitos drops to 4-1 on the campaign. The Vaqueros host Magnolia (Anaheim, CA) to meet the Sentinels in a non-league test on Wednesday, August 20. The Sentinels go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Magnolia lost 33-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Godinez Fundamental (Santa Ana, CA)
