August 19, 2025: Durham, NC 27707 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC) and the host Hillside Hornets (Durham, NC), saw Wakefield's soccer squad triumph over Hillside by a final score of 5-0.
With the triumph, Wakefield moves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Middle Creek (Apex, NC) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Monday, August 25. The Mustangs come into the match with a record of 1-1. Middle Creek lost 1-0 in their recent non-league match against Green Hope (Cary, NC)
The Hornets now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwood for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 21.
