August 19, 2025: Jacksonville, NC 28540 West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Jacksonville Cardinals (Jacksonville, NC), 2-0 in a non-league outing.
The Patriots now have a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Pamlico County for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 21. West Carteret will play a Hurricanes team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Jacksonville drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Laney (Wilmington, NC) to confront the Buccaneers in a non-league game on Wednesday, August 20. The Buccaneers go into the game with a record of 0-2. Laney lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC)
