The Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA) volleyball overcame the host Central Chargers (Macon, GA), 2-0 in Tuesday's league match.

In their next game, the Gryphons encounter the Southwest Patriots (Macon, GA) in a 1A Area 2 battle, on Tuesday, August 19. Academy for Classical Education will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Patriots go into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Westside (Macon, GA).
