Texas High School Volleyball - Ponder over Brewer

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX) and the visiting Brewer Bears (Fort Worth, TX), observed Ponder's volleyball team overcome Brewer by a tally of 3-0.

The Lions (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Celina (Celina, TX). The Bobcats enter the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Celina was beaten by Royse City (Royse City, TX), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bears meet the Oakridge Owls (Arlington, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 22. Brewer will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Owls go into the test with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Trinity Christian (Willow Park, TX).
