The Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clay City for a non-league game on Thursday, August 21. South Putnam will confront a Eels squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over West Vigo (West Terre Haute, IN). The Eels record now stands at 1-1.
The Clovers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against South Vermillion (Clinton, IN). The Wildcats come into the non-league outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, South Vermillion was topped by Sullivan (Sullivan, IN), 3-2, in a non-league outing.
