Cobre Indians (Bayard, NM) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Cobre improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Anthony (Anthony, TX) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 2-0. Anthony won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Harmony School of Innovation (El Paso, TX)

The Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Los Lunas for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26.
