In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Harker Heights Knights volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Ellison Eagles.

The Knights (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Waco (Waco, TX). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Waco beat Seguin (Arlington, TX), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smithson Valley for a non-league test on Thursday, August 21. Ellison will face a Rangers squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 6-3.
