August 19, 2025: Plains, TX 79355 Plains Cowboys (Plains, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Smyer Bobcats (Smyer, TX), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Plains improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Wellman-Union (Wellman, TX) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 21. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Wellman-Union lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Tulia (Tulia, TX)
Next, the Bobcats meet the Tahoka Bulldogs (Tahoka, TX) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 6. Smyer will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
