Van Alstyne Panthers (Van Alstyne, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Van Alstyne improves its record to 8-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Poteet (Mesquite, TX) to face the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 21. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Poteet won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Caddo Mills (Caddo Mills, TX)
