Ohio High School Football - Galion nips Elgin

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Galion Tigers football squad scored a close 15-12 victory over the Elgin Comets.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Carey Blue Devils (Carey, OH) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 27. Galion will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Blue Devils enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 30-15 non-league loss to Hopewell-Loudon (Bascom, OH).

The Comets (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Cardington-Lincoln (Cardington, OH). The Pirates enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Cardington-Lincoln was nudged by Fairbanks (Milford Center, OH), 17-0, in a non-league match.
