August 20, 2022: Stanford, KY 40484 Lincoln County Patriots (Stanford, KY) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Taylor County Cardinals (Campbellsville, KY), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Patriots confront the East Jessamine Jaguars (Nicholasville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 22. Lincoln County will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Danville (Danville, KY).
The Cardinals now possess a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marion County for a District 18 challenge on Tuesday, August 23. Taylor County will confront a Knights team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Collins (Shelbyville, KY). The Knights record now stands at 2-2.
