Marion County Eagles (Buena Vista, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Baconton Charter Blazers (Baconton, GA), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hawkinsville for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 22. Marion County will battle a Red Devils squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Telfair County (McRae, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-3.
