The Aledo Bearcats volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Sachse Mustangs to 1 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Saturday.

The Bearcats now have a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lamar for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 23. Aledo will meet a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hebron (Carrollton, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 4-8.

The Mustangs (10-7) will now prepare for their game against Reedy (Frisco, TX). The Lions enter the non-league game with a 5-6 record. In their last game, Reedy was nudged by Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX), 2-1, in a non-league game.
