August 20, 2022: Somerville, AL 35670 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Brewer Patriots (Somerville, AL) and the visiting Cordova Blue Devils (Cordova, AL), saw Brewer's volleyball squad beat Cordova by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Brewer upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Patriots travel to Madison Academy (Madison, AL) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 20. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Madison Academy won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Lawrence County (Moulton, AL)
The Blue Devils now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Winston County for a non-league bout on Monday, August 22. Cordova will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Oakman (Oakman, AL). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-2.
