The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Pearce Mustangs (Richardson, TX) and the visiting Cypress Creek Cougars (Houston, TX), saw Pearce's volleyball squad beat Cypress Creek by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Pearce upgrades its record to 12-2 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX) to play the Trail Blazers in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 20. The Trail Blazers go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Lebanon Trail won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Liberty Christian (Argyle, TX)
