In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Portola Bulldogs volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Rosary Academy Royals.

The Bulldogs (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Kennedy (La Palma, CA). The Fighting Irish come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Kennedy nudged La Quinta (Westminster, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
