August 20, 2024: Atlanta, GA 30314 The Kendrick Cherokees volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Washington Bulldogs to 0 in the Cherokees non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cherokees now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hardaway for a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 21. Kendrick will play a Hawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Callaway (Hogansville, GA). The Hawks record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Washington drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 22. The Wolverines come into the outing with a record of 7-0. Miller Grove won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA)
